How to properly appeal the suspension of YouTube account 2018

If you believe that your channel was terminated in error, then you can appeal the suspension of YouTube account. If you see the following page when trying to log into your suspended channel, then you should click on the ‘contact us’ link which is at the lower portion of the page.

Upon clicking on that link you’ll see the following page which has the appeal form for suspension of YouTube accounts:

In order to get to the ‘appeal submit’ page now, simply copy the above link text and paste it into the address bar of your web browser. You can also click on the link directly, it is supposed to open the page in a new tab.

While filling the form, firstly give your full official name, the gmail address you use to log into your suspended channel and also any email that you have currently access to. Even if YouTube terminated your channel, you should still have access to the associated gmail. So you can provide this particular gmail address in both the gaps, unless you don’t use it too frequently to exchange emails.

Lastly you need to briefly explain why you think your channel was suspended in error. You can be using a language like the following.

‘Dear YouTube,

I believe my channel was suspended in error, because I never violated any copyright or community guidelines. Some users must have flagged my videos/channel randomly and improperly. So please review into my case and unsuspend/reinstate my channel and oblige me thereby.

Yours sincerely

(Your official name).’

Then you can hit the ‘SUBMIT’ button.

If you receive a reply saying that ‘We have decided to keep your account suspended based on community guidelines‘, then nevertheless you can appeal again. This time don’t feel shy to confess your faults if you committed any. Assume that you really violated some of YouTube’s community guidelines (like stuffing the description of some videos with irrelevant keywords), feel free to confess those violations in a language like below:

‘ Dear YouTube,

I am extremely sorry that I might have violated some of YouTube’s community guidelines, that’s why my channel has been suspended. Would you please pardon me only this once and give me my channel back? If you do, I promise you that I will never violate any of YouTube’s guidelines/TOS again. You can even delete those videos that violated YouTube’s community guidelines.

If you appeal the suspension of YouTube account in a language like this, you might get your channel back; although the chance is really very slim. Some YouTubers claim to have their channel back after repeated appeals/submissions. But always maintain a 3/4 days gap between two consecutive appeals, or you may never get any reply from YouTube accounts team whatsoever.

However, if you repeatedly receive this reply from YouTube team saying that ‘We have reviewed into your case and found that your account is fully active and operational. You should be able to login with your correct gmail id and password.
